Polished off the last of the Sohei from the Test of Honour boxed set. I forgot about this one, and it took me a little while to figure out what I wanted to do with that shirt.
The set has some interesting armor and weapon details. In this case it looks like a shirt reinforced with large iron studs underneath his breastplate. Makes for an interesting sculpt. I decided to break down and get one more pack of Naginata monks from this collection, unfortunately everyone appears to be sold out.

I also managed to knock out one more archer from the Ona-Bugeisha set. Only five more to go.
Continued top work on this project! The archer in yellow is my favorite. The cloth seems to flow naturally.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I am nearly done with the leader figure for the Ona-Bugeisha. I kind of want to get a second set once I am done practicing with the first set. The are some of the best cloth sculpts I have attempted.
