More Prussian Curassier

Two more Prussian Heavy Cavalry formations join the army.  This time it is the Liebregiment zu Pferd(Top) and the Lieb-Carabiniers (Bottom).  I split from my normal basing system for heavies by putting all the Prussian heavies in two ranks instead of hip to hip as I did with the Austrian Curassier

I am still not sure which I prefer.

  1. I like the boot to boot basing. Excellent work on the Prussian heavies.

    1. I will need to do some rebasing again. I inadvertently did the last regiments of Austrians the same way.

  2. Nice work, both approaches look good to me, as previously posted I think in this scale there is something about mounting the different cavalry types in slightly different set ups to help identification. I was wondering about heavies ranked shoulder to shoulder, with units then more spread out the lighter they get ?

    1. That was my original idea. To be honest I forgot about ranking up the curassiers like that until I compared them to my original Austrians. Otherwise that is why I decided to go with 12 models per unit for the Hussars and 16 for Dragoons and curassiers.

  3. They look great no matter how you base them! :-)

    1. Thanks Peter. I suppose if I actually played more I would be able to stop waffling on basing.
