I continue to play with my new pigments. This time I decided to dirty up some of my old Corgi-style WWII tanks. I like the quality of these pieces, but they are a little too clean, so hopefully this gives them a more lived in look.
I decided to try out the look on a metal Sevomonte 75 and 1/72 scale plastic Sherman model to get the full affect. I should probably add some decals as well at some point
While not a fan of muddy uniforms (no matter how realistic), AFV's that look like they just came out of the car wash do seem odd!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I don't plan on attempting weathering with my infantry figs (perhaps some mud on the boots.) Tanks get dirty, however.
