I knocked these happy fellows out over the weekend as well. I found them in my unpainted GW pile, less their plastic crossbows. I picked up some spares from The Assault Group last year, and they seem to make adequate substitutes. I painted them up to match my existing unit of Reiklanders and they will find themselves joining one of my Landsknecht squares for Impetus.
Every post on your project makes me long for another go at this.

ReplyDeleteThey are a wonderful cross between relatively cheap and easy to train. Bowmen take years, arquebus require powder and fire. Training with a crossbow is cheaper as well. I can see the appeal
