I picked up this happy fellow and painted him as a gift for my son. This is one of the plastic "Reaper Bones" sculpts so he cost around $10 USD. I wanted to try out a large scale figure to see how my current painting approach would scale.
The figure was primered with Army Painter Dragon Red spray primer and then given a wash using their Dark Tone wash. I picked out the teach using Ivory paint with blue for the eyes. The highlights were done using AP Dragon Red and Lava Orange. He has already done battle and lost to a collection of Mouse Guard figures as of this writing.

Very nice!

DeleteImpressive dragon - and already a battle veteran. Maybe take another shot with a standard figure to show its large size better? Regards, dean
