Cogs

As I continue to clear the unfinished projects, I get to things like these.  These are plastic cogs from the old GW Mighty Empires board game.  I used to use them as merchants for Man O' War, but always wanted to paint them up as the supporting element for my Crusaders.

The shields are all different, and I changed up the brown tones in order to give some visual interest and also help separate them to sides if I want to try the Medieval rules I found in an old Wargames Illustrated...

I wanted to keep them generic, but I will probably need to put some symbols or patterns onto the scales.
