No7 Braunschweig-Bevern Infantry and No 22 Prinz Moritz Infantry

Significant headway on the the Prussian Infantry front this month with completion of the Braunschwieg-Bevern regiment (above)  and the Prinz Moritz regiment (below).  Painting Prussian infantry has not gotten rather easier since I reorganized the Grenadiers.  Now I can prep an entire regiment at once with three Popsicle sticks:  2 w/ 5 musketeer strips 1w/ 2 Command strips and three Grenadier strips.  I primer the figures black, go over all the color portions with some flat white paint and then add the color.  The flags are color prints made using MSPAINT and the plates on the Kronoskaf site.

I am nearly complete with the the on-hand Prussian Infantry.  I have two more musketeer regiments and 1 fusilier ready for painting, and then will probably not add any more for awhile.  ( I would like to do some Jaegers before I dive into the Saxon regiments.) That said, still plenty of cavalry to go.

  1. Great job on two more regiments! The rate at which you are popping these out is really impressive.

    1. Thanks, as the finish line approaches I am finding a little more gas in the tank.

    2. You know, looking closely at the figures, these look more like individuals rather than the Old Glory ACW 10s that seem to be joined at the hips and elbows. I would like to see these in person sometime. These are still strips, right?

    3. They are all strips. Some figures can be separated, others cannot (The Austrian standard bearers can be snipped clear, the Prussian ones can't for example.) I would love to find time to host al game with them down here, otherwise I will bring some up next time time you host.
