6mm Polish Infantry

In five days it will be 1 year since I last posted newly painted 6mm figs to this blog.

Wahoo!  Getting these in under the gun!  I finally finished my Polish infantry to give me my three Divisions for the 1809 project.  These four were given their elites to help distinguish the similar paint schemes on the table.  This also gives 28 vs. 24 figs per stand which just looks more meaty.

This brings the Infantry contingent up to 12 regiments + three stands of combined elites.  Combined with the Cavalry detachments this completes my Polish Force (less a figure for the Prince himself.)

This leaves the Saxons as the only faction I have not completed for this project.  I have the figs, but can I finish them before years end?  Don't hold your breath.  At least its a start.

    1. Your updates to your rules inspired me to finish them off. My goal is play through the whole Danube campaign. The Saxons are at least primered.

  2. Nearly one year since paint last touched a 6mm figure? Time flies doesn't it? Looks like you are ready to battle with your 6mm collection.

  4. Good to see some work on the 1809 mproject!
The Saxon uniforms are kind of fun to paint, especially the Cavalry!

    1. That are definitely an interesting lot. It should make them easy to pick out on the table as well.
