Greatcoats? Well they're pretty good at least...

The last of my GHQ Union Infantry is finally complete.  These guys represent two packs of ACW #66 infantry in Great Coats in Forage caps.  They are a fast painting group as they are almost entirely monochrome with the large coats and matching trousers.

I am fairly happy with how they turned out, and will probably do a couple more units just like these to round out a brigade,

I also took the opportunity to finish the last of the Union Field artillery pieces I had left over.  I'd like to declare my artillery complete at this point, but I still have all of the Siege packs left to finish as well.

  1. These "fairly good" coated figures look, well great! The buttons really enhance the look, and the flags came out especially well.

Let the Battle Cry of Freedom ring out!

    1. Thanks. The odd part is that I am actually preffering the hand painted 'impressionist' flags to my normal printouts. At least for 10mm

  2. I like the action of the gun crew ramming home the charge. Much more interesting than the usual static gun crew placement.

    1. They are, though the fig is fairly specialized and does not work with every piece it comes with.

  3. They look amazing. Really well done. Hard to believe they're 6mm, they look more like 15mm figures. Very well done.

    1. Thank you. They are actually 10mm, filling the gap between the other two scales.
